I was browsing some this morning and came upon this meer at Smoker's Haven. Very detailed meer, thought I would share it with yas.

Its a S. Yanik he has some of the best detail on his older pieces. Newer ones are good but there has been reports of the quality of the meer itself.

Yanik seems to do a lot of Dragons. I got this Yanik for Christmas, it has 2 Dragons fighting, the pipe is really big.

Whoa... that pipe is very impressive Jcsnaps. I would love to see a front on view of that.

Looks awesome; however from the pic of the bowl it looks to have a less than ideal drill hole. One of my pet peeves with bent pipes is when the drill hole is a quarter of an inch from the bottom of the bowl. Nothing worse than getting to the bottom of the bowl with tobacco you cannot smoke simply because the pipe is poorly drilled. For $385 I would feel bad correcting the crafter's mistake with pipe mud.
You can always see the telltale half-pipe groove that goes to where the hole should have been. If Savinelli can get it right for $80 I would rather buy one of those.

Briarbird, here's the front. I think that trying to get around that curve is pretty extreme. The fact that the lowest part of the bend is well below the bowl has the carver going 2 ways to make the passage meet. Mine smokes very nicely.
