My wife just got back from a trip to the antique store - actually she was suppose to go Costco, but got side tracked.
While she was brousing she saw a pipe stand with five very beat Grabows. The sixth one looked like a system pipe with the white diamond on the stem. She looked at it and though it was in pretty good shape compared to some. She wasn't able to take it apart, so she decided to ask me before making an offer on the single pipe (The whole set was priced at $79 and she thought it was worth maybe $25).
First off, I've never had a system pipe so I'm cautious. Secondly, I'm just getting started on Grabows and Kaywoodies so I still have a lot to learn about them and their worth. Could definately use some help here.
