International Pipes and Accessories, the owners of DR. G. is behind the curve when it comes to marketing on line and accepting electronic payments. They've had a website for 2-3 years now but it hasn't changed since it went online-- no way to order online.
The general manager told us during the last tour I made that they were working on developing other means of marketing.but contractual obligations with some of their distributers limited what they could do at that time. Walgreens,CVS and others kinda had them by the cajones is my understanding. Mail order is one of their largest sources of sales.

If they could find a hometown guy, or someone who understands the culture, but also knows marketing (how to sell stuff) it would be wonderful. I think they could double or triple their sales if someone simply knew how to make the mail order business more accessible. I'm a tobacco-pipe-crazy, and I've never laid eyes on any kind of catalog of their pipes directly from them. On the other hand, they don't need some kind of awful ego-tripper, whether locally raised or an outsider, to disrupt their special regional culture. Just someone who can take good pipes and step up the revenue flow. Ideal would be some kind of light industry marketing guy who moved away and had a career somewhere else, who would like to move back home and work with them.

They haven't had a catalog since the Linkman days. They did send out nice full color pamphlets with the pipes that were bought by mail order and also the coupon pipes I believe , but as far as I know, no longer do that.
