Ok I have sampled my way through Virgina, VaPer, Burley, English, etc. Finding my keepers. I have 2-3 in each category I enjoy, but I just started trying some stronger Kentucky blends like today I tried G&H Dark Birds Eye. It’s kinda sweet and kind of slap you in the face. I find that I have to sip it even softer than a straight Virginia or it’s like ethanol burn from a 120 proof whiskey. But be forewarned unless you have your man pants on don’t retrohale it. Wow it felt like I snorted black pepper up my nose. Definitely an experience!!

I have others like Irish Twist, Dark Flake, and Brown Twist. I hope I love one of them. As always looking for maximum sweetness where I can find it.

Happy Puffing Everyone

My schnoz and sinuses are sensitive from heavy bouts of hay fever in childhood, wearing big sunglasses like a junkie, so I don't risk my mucus membranes with retrohale.

About four years in the Navy living at the coast and at sea seemed to have settled down the worst of it, but pollen season is here, so i tread lightly. i need to take my pollenated car to the carwash. No retrohale for me.

Yeah that'll happen. I've found smaller sips and a combination mouth/nose exit for the retrohale tames things quite a bit and gives a more enjoyable flavor.

It won't produce dope ass dragon's breath like you see blasting out of the nostrils of all those teenage vape wizards, but it won't burn your nasal passages down to scalded pig flesh either.

Have you tried retrohaling a cigar, and is it worse than that? I have not yet found a pipe tobacco that I can't retrohale, but many cigars are too strong for me. It's actually why I prefer pipe tobacco, because most of the flavor is in the retro.

HAH! Vape wizards, I'll have to remember that one.

No I actually have never retrohaled a cigar. But will try it next time I do. I only smoke cigars on the golf course or around fire pit and it’s rare occasion.
