I guess no other animal would share both a sit in the sun/shade smoke and a stroll smoke...kind of makes for the perfect smoking companion.

i didnt realise that a pointer,retriever and beagle were all the same dog(see pictures)
does this count,mant adverts for st bruno featured the st bernard
As late as AD 1998? I thought pipes had become dinosaurs in the 1980's. The poster certainly has an 80's look to it.

the magazine is from 1998,the advert may well be 1970/80,s era as adverts for cigars and pipe tobacco were banned in 1991 in the UK,cigarettes much earlier in 1965
