It gets to that point doesn't it mawnansmiff?
I haven't placed an order lately, this thread may cause me to do so.

When you ask "does it get better," are you asking if the drive for more, more, more goes away? Yes and no. The 'fear of missing out' will always be present, or at least until the new FDA guidelines come into effect. But at some point, you will learn to deal with these PAD & TAD cravings and suppress them until the appropriate time.
I personally had to make a rather large investment in the hobby, over three years, before I got my wits about me and slowed down. I look at the stockpile of pipes and tobacco today, and I do not regret anything! If I wanted, I could sit in my basement and never think about new pipes and tobacco again (pipes cleaners and fire would be a different story).

It doesn't go away. You just keep exploring and finding more and more tobacco's you like. Then you start stockpiling like it's the end of the world.

yes i figured, when i firs started, i had 3 pouches of captain black and mm cob, now hahhahah, my drawer if getting full of tobacco jars and tins and pipes, hmmmm, i need more space, my wife saw me looking at her closet, and read my mind and she told me to not think about making space in there, so i will have to look for another alternative, I did place a small jar inside her drawer just to make her mad, she is cute when she gets mad, cant wait till she finds it, I do enjoy collecting my pipes and tobacco, i rather enjoy it and i dont regret any purchases i had made, soon I will have to find a bigger house, with a big cellar or basement to store my stuff.

"...with a big cellar or basement to store my stuff."
A bloke can never have enough space to store his 'stuff', take my word for it.
I have large collections of antique books and minerals (not to mention pipes and a slowly growing tobacco stock) and though my place is modest in size I can always use more 'space'.
The reasoning behind this is obvious...more space equals more stuff :puffy:
Regards,
Jay.

You have a serious problem. Not only do you have a tobacco problem, but you're seeking help in a virtual room of junkies, a crack addict seeking advice in a crack den. Stay on this path and you'll find yourself divorced, homeless, and with the nicest cellar wagon of all your homeless friends.
Just trying to help :puffy:
