For me, it's really about how much disposable income one has and whether you are motivated to resell if your tastes change.
I like the wide now narrow later camp if you have said cash and motivation.
There are blends that I have come to like and I have stocked up on them then there are blends that I have not tried but think I might like based on the producer and component tobaccos of which I buy 3-5 tins.
Then there are out-of-production tobaccos which I know I will like and the wife can sell or give away when I give up the ghost, probably to some of you geezers.
