Yeah but it's not artificial.
1. If they wanted to charge more, they'd still sell out. Their prices are perfectly in line with its peer tobaccos.

2. If they could make more, they'd sell more.

3. I hardly think that the six people who work at Germain are concerned at all about marketing.

4. They're producing at capacity. It's a tiny operation.

JF Germain and Sam Gawith, the two best pipe tobacco companies on the planet.
Anyone know specifically the names of the guys or gals who concocted their blends. I know some of blends are hundreds of year old recipes but there has to be some names behind these legendary mixes.

The Mike Butera interview tonight was interesting. He owned the Esoterica line from 1995 until he retired around 2008 or 2009. He said on the show that every single year that he owned the brand, Germain produced considerably less of the various blends than the number that he ordered from them.
