When reviewers tell me that a blend is more or less this or that relative to this or that well known blend, it gives me something to go on.
Not so much anymore, I used too. Every now and then if I’m smoking something, I’ll write my thoughts of said blend on there. I still frequently visit it though. Sometimes I just like to see what others have to say about a blend I’m enjoying. I know most people hate the subjective reviews but it’s a subjective hobby/addiction (whatever you want to call it), so I like to know what the reviewer think.
I never post reviews because, if I did, it would be “I liked it” or “it didn’t work for me.” I don’t have a good vocabulary to clearly describe what I’m experiencing in a tobacco. Nic hit is important to me, as I seem to have a low tolerance for nicotine, so that information, particularly, is of benefit to me when I read reviews, which I do frequently.
I use TR.com just to see Jiminks’s take on flavors. I pay no attention to rankings. I did try to write a few reviews years ago, but I tend to turn to humor over content on most of what I ramble, and I knew that my contributions wouldn’t really help anyone… so… I stopped.
I used to… not “I used too”. I also frequently swap the words “sense” with “since” or “here with “hear”. It drives me nuts when I read it later when I’m no longer able to edit. So I’m editing it this way. I’m always messing up my homonyms!
Use to or Used to, you surely mean?

Not your fault of course, I blame Dan Quayle & George Dubya. When those two started giving the nation elocution & spelling lessons, i knew you were all f#£&@d! That & the fact you ‘used too’ much condor in your youth & it’s discombobulated your brain! Lol (no offence!)
Here I am trying to correct my first post and then you come along and correct me on my correction. That is a common one for me as well. I would blame it on my phone but it was all me. Just get use(d) to seeing that one from me, ol’ chap. Ignorance is bliss.
I used to use tobacco reviews too...but found too few reviews to be of any use.
They used to play a Homonym in our chapel. No wait ...... It was a Harmonium !
Years ago, I wrote 52 reviews on Tobaccoreviews.com, but discontinued the effort in June of 2016. I guess I was trying to document every blend that I had tried at that time. There are some very good reviewers on there and I was out of my league as a writer; just tried to write my thoughts on what I was smoking.
