Will start, put it down...then if I get busy or sidetracked, (note this may be several days later), I'll come back and finish or, smoke for a bit, then put it down to resume later. Complete is when it's just at the point before ash is drawn into the draught. Then, the dottle dumped. Sometimes I'll have two going at the same time.

Sometimes I do. More often than not I don't. I'd say it's about the last 1/4 of the bowl things usually head south and it starts not taking a light and tasting ashy. I call it quits and dump it. Every now and then I get the fine white ash, no dottle but it's rare. Don't know exactly how to replicate the experience either. Maybe one day

I don't like smoking a full bowl so I pack lightly. If I have to stop I do and relight without any problems. I smoke to the bottom of the bowl if the smoke is pleasant but if I'm not enjoying it, I simply dump it and move on.

Most of the time, I do, and when I have the time, as well as a perfect bowl (pack+tobacco moisture), I'll smoke the dottle too, all the way to ash, unless it begins tasting ashy first.

Occasionally I'll smoke a portion of a bowl and come back to it, but I prefer to make sure I have the time to finish. It just doesn't seem complete unless I do.

I don't mind finishing a bowl straightaway or relighting later, even days later, provided the tobacco tastes good refired. Sometimes I load the wrong tobacco, it just doesn't "feel" right for the time of day or something (I'm a novice piper) and I'll snub it and smoke something else, then come back to the first bowl at another time.

I smoke my pipes infrequently, and I tend to do it when I'm alone / no hurry, its something I enjoy and really want to keep it special, so yes, I 9 times out of 10 finish the bowl.

I smoke more intermittently than not. Something is always interrupting. Hours or a full day is no problem. The tobacco dries out a little, which is usually a good thing. I'd say most of my bowls are completely smoked at the end, but the occasional dottle, a pinch of unburned tobacco, is fine, of no concern. I frequently pack a pipe at the end of the evening for the next day, just to make it easy. Just by habit, I don't smoke much before noon. I'm the breakfast cook, bring my wife breakfast in bed with the paper, eat my own breakfast, take a few pills and supplements and feed the cats, sort of on automatic pilot. Then I might think about a pipe.

I won't light unless I have a good 45-60 minutes, and if I don't finish the bowl I dump it as I reeallyr dislike the smell of partially burnt tobacco.

I've noticed consistently that usually the last couple of puffs of any bowl are the best though, for some reason they always seem intensely sweet no matter the pipe or blend.

Almost always finish, but not always in one sitting, standing, drive, or walk! I had two poor tastes on a later re-light, but that's out of 2-3 thousand.

I’m usually too impatient to dry the tobacco out initially, so if I get interrupted and finish it later, it often is better than when I started.
