I am the safest person to get mad at, because I don't take anything serious (except for calling that Sutliff vinegar aromatic swill anything like McClellands). But, hopefully, you'd know that I am not seriously trying to make you mad. Just bustin' balls right?
It's totally ok to think of the blender's art as some sort of religious sacrament that we shouldn't alter. But, it's just ironic to take that same way of thinking and apply it to our food. I go to a lot of top notch restaurants, where the draw is that the chef is the best at what they do. Then I listen to people at tables around me ordering like it's a fuckin' Burger King where they can order anything "Their Way." I'm sure the staff is all taking turns spitting in the plates of the asshole that orders the boeuf bourguignon, hold the onions, not too much sauce, well done, and bring me some ketchup.
