I have some old aromatics that have lost their flavor... the tobacco itself also seems to be fairly low quality, so I don’t enjoy smoking it.

In searching this forum on what to do with tobacco like this, I found a comment by someone who said "Try DIY aromatic flavoring experiments."

He didn't explain HOW though.

I think it would be fun to experiment with this.

Any suggestions or ideas on what to do or how to get started?

Start searching this site and other sites in the web for key words related to aromatics, including "topping", "sauce", "casing"

Check out some threads in the home blending section of this forum:

For example:

And there's a section on home blending on the pipe smokers dens forum and the fair trade tobacco forum has some stuff too.
Examples:

Also, if there any aromatics or blenders that you especially like, try searching the web for details on the ingredients of their toppings
So maybe search for "wilke peanut butter ingredients" or something.

But basically, try adding something that smells good to some tobacco and see if it works.

Oh, and also try searching for "tonquin bean"
