Just a quick question and I apologize to "countryboy" for hijacking his thread. How do most of you dippers (Copenhagen, Grizzly, etc...) store your dip? I put mine in the Fridge.

Holy cow! That is a legit amount of dip. Glad you stopped. Pipe smoking will take care of you and be way less damaging to your health.
And welcome to the forum! In addition to pipes, you get to hang with all us salty dogs on the forum. Woo hoo! Win/win.

Copenhagen user here......as far as "storing" (if there is such a thing) I've always found that refrigerating may keep it fresh for a short period of time, but it tends to dry out much quicker once you remove it from the fridge than it would had it been stored at room temperature. The only blend I've ever had satisfy my nicotine craving is Nightcap, but only after 2 successive bowls. And by "satisfy" I mean that I didn't feel the need to take another dip before going to bed that night. The nicotine tolerance I've developed over time from Copenhagen (about 15 years) is extremely high. I've considered kicking the Copenhagen lately but I'm afraid I'd have to smoke SG Brown No.4 multiple times a day to keep the cravings at bay. For the last few months I've been trying my hardest to only take one dip a day (coming from 1 - 1.5 cans a day) and supplement with a pipe when I can. It's tough though because the Copenhagen is so much more convenient on the go. I rarely have time for multiple bowls a day.

You guys should consider making your own. Buy some Burley (or Fire Cured) from Whole Leaf Tobacco. When all is said and done it'll probably cost you about $20.00/lb but since dip can be up to 50% water by weight it would be more like $10.00. I never tied Cope mainly because it smells gross to me but I make my own Wintergreen flavored dip (and apple, maple, chocolate etc). I just put 4 pounds in the freezer from this years grow.
The dip manufacturers are a lot like the cigarette companies. They put so much garbage in their product that it makes it dangerous to use.
