I did a trade with Mr English for this a few months ago and honestly was not that impressed with it. I grabbed it again after forgetting about it for a few months and it had dried out really nicely. I am now loving this stuff, it is amazing how a little bit of time and some drying can make all the difference in a blend. I just ordered ten tins on my last TAD order, and will keep on stocking up the cellar with it. It has a nice full flavor of tobacco with some nice sweetness, it kind of reminds me of Stonehaven in a way, both are burley/va blends, with the Stonehaven being a little sweeter.

Good call cigrmaster on stocking up on the stuff. I enjoy it right out of the tin myself. I'll try to exercise a little patients and let the next flake dry out a little bit.

I have a tin I found at the local B&M a month or two ago. Looking forward to trying it. Will definitely keep in mind to dry it out some before smoking. I keep reading more and more good things about this blend so I'm looking forward to cracking this one open soon.

Have my first tin of ODF on the way, finally. My last P+C order was a casualty of the Great Black House Back Order of '12.

I hope you guys who have never tried it enjoy it. It was weird how I wasn't crazy about it when I first tried it, usually I can look past the new blend thing and see the potential. I am real glad I gave this another shot.

Harris.... I ordered more yesterday, but opened a tin and laid out the flakes to dry over

night on some newspaper. Rubbed them out this morning and loaded an old Dunhill. Just lovely!

I'm thinking I didn't order enough yesterday, but will add to next TAD. Thanks!

Agree, must have blasted through a pnd of this stuff already...24hr

dry time and rub has been the perfect combo to unlocking this

blend's full potential

I picked up a tin of this along with Dunhill Flake a couple of weeks ago. I have too many open tins right now to pop it yet though. From what I hear this blend only benefits from aging though, so I'm looking good I guess. I just hope I don't get blown away by the vitamin n. I've heard if you don't puff it slowly it can attack you if your vulnerable to nicotine.

I'm not used to nicotine. So I like to smoke this in a small bowl. Even so I get a bit light-headed (I mean even more than usual).
Edit - It's especially good with a cup of strong coffee in the morning.

Harris, glad your re-try was enjoyable. I had a similar experience makes me wonder about other blends I've given up on...
