Different Pipe, Different Tobacco

This may be an old subject and I apologize if I re-started an old Thread.

I have smoked a Pipe on and off, for almost 20 years and recently decided that if I have time to smoke a cigarette I can light a pipe just as easy and actually enjoy my smoke.

Now the question, I have smoked black cavendish tobacco's most of my time, and was wondering, if you change tobacco do you change pipes? I always thought a good practice but since I am mostly smoking the cavendish I really do not know.
