I really love unique shapes, or rare variations of pipes. Logistically one could look at this Castello Collection Occhio de Pernice KK Grade and consider it a stummel awaiting work for completion.
It's not until you can hold it in your hand, the photo does no justice to this pipe, that you see the shape is perfect to showcase the beautiful straight grain on the top and bottom of the pipe and the surreal birdseye on the side that you understand there was no other shape the dynamics of the grain could be realized.
This pipe screams flakes and not just flakes but Virginia. Who am I to not fulfill its request so I fed it #22 Virgina and am happy to not both it an I are keeping it smokey and enjoying every sip.
