Last year the New Jersey Fellowship of Pipe Smokers had an afternoon event at a JR's Cigars. Nice gathering of about 25 people. Jr's had a buy one get one free on tins of tobacco, and other specials on pipes. Russ Oulette had tinned a 2011 IPSD blend, we were able to buy some bulk at a very reasonable price and gave everyone a little sample to share on the occasion. It was a nice afternoon and hope it can be repeated, although a Monday might be a slower evening.

Yup, the club sponsors a pipe smoking competition open to anyone, its a fun time

I ordered the Frog Morton series from pipesandcigars.com, and apparently they are throwing in a free calendar with every holiday order, and this holiday is already marked on their calendar, but I did know about it previously. If my taxes are in by February, I'm gonna celebrate by buying a Savinelli Churchwarden Ive had my eye on.
