Alright guys. My first tobacco finally came in. Loaded up a bowl in my Missouri Meerschaum Country Gentleman (a half bowl to cut down on time [was still 30 minutes]) and fired up a charing light. Tamped down after it went out and sparked up a true light. Then puffed slowly. The description reads, "A soft, sweet and very fragrant blend with either the

new smoker in mind or the seasoned smoker looking for a break from the heavier blends." This smoke tasted slightly of maybe cherry and some vanilla? First experience with fine tobaccos but from profiles a Virginia and Burley mix more Burley dominant. Again. A new guy's tastes I probably am wrong. However, didn't need to relight again and DID NOT GET TONGUE BITE!

If it's a good, tasty, relaxing smoke, it's the finest tobacco in the world. There is a world of blends and single-leaf out there, but that may be one of the best bowls you'll have. Sounds great.

Sounds like an enjoyable smoke congrats! I've been smoking on/off seasonally for 2 years and I'm constantly relighting

Seems like everyone is different- some blends will bite, and some won't for different people. Glad you found a winner!

I'm glad as well! Gonna pipe on some of the same company's VaBur named Rivendell a little later.

Certainly NOT ME, Pipingate.
You're fortunate to have a good experience so early on in your piping career.
Nicely done and I hope you have 10,000 more.

Congrats. It is always a special moment to find a blend that works. Now, when you try other blends, you have a standard by which to compare.

Always a good time, when it comes together, especially when just starting out on the journey.

Gives you the time to enjoy, instead of stressing over dampness, packing, tamping, relights etc.

Try Shortcut to Mushrooms - that is my favorite ME blend. A nice cross between and aro and english. Sweet cavendish with a little latakia for body. Mild and smooth
