I stopped by a B&M in Las Vegas during my out-of-state travels last week. As usual I look for really old, out of production, or unicorn blends when stopping somewhere new.

After striking out on the aforementioned, I bought a three-year old tin of Three Nuns Green as the pickings were slim. Total cost, $30. Yikes.

I try to support B&Ms once every blue moon so I was prepared.

Then the SPC sale popped up and once again it's hard to think these things are mere coincidences.

The b&m nearest me put all their 3 yr old 3 nuns on clearance for $9 each because they weren't selling. I scored their last green and a few yellows. Even at $9, they still had several yellows on the rack 2 months later. I like them, but obviously most folks weren't too impressed.

I think anyone that likes Mac Baren's Roll Cakes/Spun Cuts in all their variations would like all of the current Nuns. They're almost like HH Twists.. less sweet casings, less toppings, "select" tobaccos.. kinda surprised they don't get more love, but I also understand how they might be a letdown for fans of older versions of 3Nuns. I've never tried the original, so I don't have that problem... I just approach them as MB products.

I think the only problem is calling them Three Nuns. Well, that and the price. But yeah, I've had Red and Yellow and both were good blends.
