I had an old friend pass away a couple of years ago, His son told me that when the inventoried his belongings that, as best he could tell, there were about 6,000 bottles of wine. This is just another example of a collector becoming obsessive/compulsive.

I drink double that so 7 years of stock. It was once recommended in France to have 1 litre of wine per day. That's 1 and a third bottle.
