Deer hunting

Here is a little trick.
Every time you put out deer corn, piss on it. The deer get used to your scent and won’t mind when you are there.

While I’ve heard of this, I’ve never tried it.

I only smoke in camp. It's just my preference to smoke while relaxing around the campfire after a long day in the field.

I never have smoked in a deer blind, and I don’t think I’ll start. That being said, I strongly suspect it wouldn’t matter that much. In any event, this year I didn’t have much of a chance even if I wanted to, as I took a chunky fork horn at 7:30 am opening morning, and 1 is enough for me.

I did this year with son in law and a grand son . We are in ohio and do a controlled dive . I passed on an easy shot , so the boys would see deer . The doe saw me finally but I am sure she didn't smell the pipe
