I can't wait until summer gets here for some mixed species fishing trips. Right now I'm busy dropping in a new transducer and replacing a black box on the boat. I don't like making big holes in the bottom of the boat.
Here is a combined trip where we never really hit a good bite but had enough to make the trip worth while. This is out of Garibaldi, Oregon.

This Dropbox is giving me fits. It will not show using the IMG function, and lists only a link using both the URL and just pasting the link. Man I wish this place used Tapatalk, it is so easy to load photos using the Tapatalk server. Finally got it figured out.

I haven't been fishing in 20 years but want to get back into it with my 4yr old son. Great pics guys! Any advice for a complete noob doing some shore fishing in Ontario? Specifically Chemong Lake in Peterborough Ontario? Any general advice for shore fishing would help greatly.

75F by noon this last weekend. The crappie are already starting to run here, kind of early IMO, but... I pulled out a mess this weekend. I did notice the bass were setting pretty in the shallows, but they were unprovoked by my attempts to get their attention. I am excited to be get back into my Saturday morning fishing routine.

Here I am with a couple of nice ones.

This one weighed right around 60lbs, if I remember right.

This one, from the same trip, was a tad over 50lbs.

Here's another trip. That's my cousin on the right and one of my buddies on the left, showing off some of the day's catch.
