David Knowles, Telegraph journalist, has died at 32

David Knowles, creator of the Telegraph's Ukraine: The Latest podcast, has died in Gibraltar at the age of 32. He died of a suspected cardiac arrest, and counter-terrorism police are involved in some capacity.

Mr. Knowles was a phenomenal journalist, and for about the first year of the conflict I listened to the podcast daily. His voice had become a daily part of my life, and I remember the surprise at learning how young he was - a very impressive career in such a short life. He regularly informed and moved me, and often made me laugh. He was a true friend of freedom.

This is not a political thread or one to debate the conflict.

A 32year old dying is pretty unusual but we will have to wait until the autopsy before we get all excited. I wish Mr. Knowles a blessed hear after.
