Normally there are very large round labels on the back. There is a 10 digit code, if your break that up in pairs of two, you take the first pair, the third pair and the fifth pair you get the date backwards in European date note (we date ddmmyy), the 2nd pair and 4th pair are the hour and minute mark.

So a tin with code 2121122121 would be made 21 of December 2021 at 21:21. That's goed for all STG/Orlik tins or pouches with those codes.

Ha... you're right. I forgot to reverse them! Good catch.

Personally, I like the European dating model. The metric system too. I don't understand why we have to be so different here in the states with weights & measures. ?

Although, I do prefer the US Military time keeping method the best overall others.
