Folks, I luckily found an estate Castello shape 55 that replaced one I stupidly sold 20 years ago. I am having trouble dating this pipe as it doesn’t seem to match with what I read online. The pipe is about 1 ¾ inches high with a 15/16 inch chamber opening. The pipe markings are CASTELLO OLD SEA ROCK, K (no circle), 55, HAND MADE, MADE IN CANTU’ ITALY, AND CARLO SCOTTI (in a circle).
The problem is that the pipe is obviously larger than a single K Sea Rock. Does anyone know if there was a time period when a single K was used on old Sea Rocks regardless of size?
