Dating Ashton pipe without COM or size stamp (not been buffed off). Is it possible to date this Ashton pipe? Thanks.

Bill reportedly lost a date stamp one year in the mid-1990's, that's likely the best you can do. An SG Sovereign is a good thing! The way the rest of the pipe looks, I doubt someone buffed it off. To get a stamp completely off, would get the stem out of round.
