Dating A Peterson Kapet

As per the title,I have aquired a Peterson Kapet 606s which has its original inner tube,can any Pete geeks give me an idea of it,s age.
I believe the Kapet line ran from 1920s to mid 1980,s can anyone confirm this

With the MITROI stamp I believe it has, you can narrow it down to 49-80’s. I don’t have any idea on when particularly they were using stingers.

Made in the Republic of Ireland is post 1949 but stingers ended in 1947 ??? Maybe a Pete Geek can clarify ???

ok so you have found something I was not aware of re the stinger dates.yes I agree MITROI makes it post 1947.
Its not the same pipe as in the Reborn article unless it has made it's way to Serbia,as that is where I have purchased it from.

I'm guessing your's is transitional from 47 to 49 but again, maybe an expert will chime in ...

I concur with the “post 49” cited in the article, but some of the other info regarding stamping and eras seems off in comparison to current “geekdom”.
But Pete is notoriously consistent with inconsistency
