Date My Pipe, Please

While the thread name implies there will be a lot of jokes, which is ok, anyone help with the age of this pipe?

I obtained this pipe quite some time ago. It is a new never smoked Caminetto Mustache. When I bought it I remember being told this was either a late 70's era pipe or early 80's. I never attempted to figure out a year it was made until just now cleaning out a gun safe.
Any feedback is welcome

Business moustache - 30s- 40s
Salt&pepper - 60 years +

Once again, there seems to be much confusion with stamping and dates.
The one thing for sure is the Cucciago (co) means handmade in Italy.
The numbers on the box apparently tell the year, make and model...but there is some confusion. The mustache style may hold your answer.
