In the semi-rural NorthEastern USA
is way tastier then it should be. I used the leaf of perique i got in a D&R blend (yes it was a full leaf) and it defies my vocab to explain how magical it is. One of the notes is rich milk. And sour dough bread and magic to name a few others . And it gives a rough but wonderfull edge like the way a dash of hot sauce can to a dish. Or in other words give it a shot at worst it will be interesting.
