Dark Fired Kentucky Video

Found a short 10 minute documentary about how dark fired kentucky is grown, harvested and cured.

I love these types of videos if anyone has any other recommendations. There's plenty about cigars but very few specific to pipe tobacco.

Thanks for the post, fascinating.

It’s especially interesting that with one of the oldest crops that improvements in agronomy are still being tried and applied. This is the first that I’ve seen strip till and no-till being used.

The labor intensiveness and delicacy of the plant is daunting. Nothing like corn and beans.

Here's a few I've watched over the years, they're British Pathe shorts that were shown in cinemas between films from the 1930's to the 1970's and are quite interesting and also a little funny.
