I also cut my teeth on Hamborger Veermaster around the 2000/2001 area. I can remember a steady diet of Hamborger Veermaster, Samuel Gawith Best Brown Flake, Dunhill Light Flake, Solani 633, Escudo and Marlin Flake when I first started to really get into straight Virginias.
I've never had the pleasure of smoking aged Hamborger Veermaster but I have to believe it's nothing short of epic.
