My Dad smoked a pipe to relax since i can remember, mainly at weekends in the garden and in the pub beer garden. He had a lot more pipes, but these were some of his favourites. I may go through his collection at a later date but wanted to grab these and any unopened/jarred tobacco before my mum threw them out! We used to sometimes smoke together on a walk to the pub or in the Garden. A nice father and son moment!

Pipes left to right

Peterson Clontarf B7
Unknown freehand (no marks)
Savinelli 673 KS
Mr Plumb Giant 560XL

A pack of Peterson Summertime 2018
Erinmore
McLintock O.Dream
Jar of Gawith Hogarth Summer Reserve
Jar of Sutcliff Molto Dolce

A fun dolphin pipe knife

I will smoke a bowl or two in his memory.

I assume he was older. You sound the way people sound when their parent dies at a very old age. I hope I am right about that. Either way great pipes and also the most expensive pipes ever. The man had good taste in pipes and tobacco. And condolences. Makes sure to pour out a bit of his favorite libations when you light up those beauties.

Thanks, you're right he was in his 80s and had a good life. He never had too much tobacco at one time (unlike me). Recently as i got into the hobby he tried all sorts of tobacco having been quite conservative for many years. Some he loved and some not so much! I'm not sure he ever tried the O dream! But I'll give anything a go!
