Here we have the cross-cut craggy paneled one piece sitter against the classic keeled red blast spigot with tortoise shell bakelite.

Some of these pipes are distinctive and the carver may be recognizable to many. Please try to avoid guessing the carver in the comments so as not to influence any voters, but feel free to comment on what you like and don't like about each one. This is essentially the finals for me. I would love to have either of these pipes in my collection and they have nailed the contest brief. Props to both carvers.

I’m going with 1.

The deciding factor for me came to the design of shank side of the spigot.
