Moving on to the third match. Here we have an incredibly classic ridge-bowled cutty with a silver spigot mount turned by the carver against a very petite pocket rocket with bamboo that was hand dug by the artisan.

Some of these pipes are distinctive and the carver may be recognizable to many. Please try to avoid guessing the carver in the comments so as not to influence any voters, but feel free to comment on what you like and don't like about each one. Apparently they have done away with the poll feature here, so please cast your vote in a comment and I will count them when the threads begin to naturally slow down.

If I had to actually choose between these two pipes, I'd need more information than just pictures, such as weight, length, chamber dimensions, and stem material. I prefer the bowl shaping on #1, but I can't abide acrylic stems. Since I assume that's what you've got there, and I love bamboo as an accent, and I assume #2 weighs less than #1 and has a vulcanite stem, #2 would be my choice, but that's a tough one.
