hey man, that's awesome to hear. I still smoke marijuana on a regular basis (don't judge me, I'm a 4.0 gpa student and work for a major publication online), but I really only smoke at the end of the day when I'm finished with everything I have to do. Usually I'll smoke and watch some Netflix with my fiance for an hour before going to sleep. Honestly, I can't get by without smoking ganja because of the intense anxiety that tends to build up, and sometimes I'll have to smoke during the day to calm myself, but that's very rare. I've learned to control my anxiety problems somewhat.
But what I've noticed since starting to smoke pipe about 2 months ago, is that I don't smoke weed as much anymore. Some days I forget to smoke ganja at all because I'm so relaxed and calm from smoking my pipe. It's true what people say, although there's nicotine in the tobacco, for some reason it really relaxes and calms me to the point that I don't need to smoke any weed. I'm not in the process of quitting, nor will I any time soon, but I like that smoking pipe has gotten me to cut back on Mary Jane and save me some money each week (who am I kidding...I'm spending WAY more money than before buying tobacco and pipes...).

I've had said experiences myself. Very profound and enlightening experiences that I somehow forget by morning. haha I must say it is refreshing to hear of one actually remembering the experience and building of of it.
phantomwolf I'm with you on that. I swear I have a major epiphany every other time I smoke, but by morning, it's as if nothing happened.

Good for you, man. I whole heartedly believe in using whatever tools necessary to improve upon ones self. It sounds like you had a real transcendent experience!

It's good for us to reevaluate our lives occasionally, especially when we find the things that are supposed to bring us pleasure are causing discord instead. I think when you do eventually sit down with a pipe you will enjoy it much more than the times you just mindlessly lit up as part of some routine.
