As a fellow Welshman, I totally get where you're coming from with the Chicken curry half and half. It's such a comforting and tasty dish, isn't it? I've also grown up thinking it's more widespread than just Wales.

Lamb must taste different in the states I suppose. More of a mutton vindaloo man myself, garlic naan & 24 pints of lager. That's the ticket! 👍
YMMV of course, goes without saying.
In the US, all lamb is referred to as "lamb", regardless of the animal age at slaughter. We rarely see the word "mutton" used, except in British usage.

"24 pints of lager", however, is a universal language.
