I used to suffer from the spins from Nic i tried all of the above tips and they do work.

To get round it totally though i bought a high Nic tobacco. I started on a small bowl and smoked it everyday increasing the bowl size. Then switching it up to 2-3 bowls a day. Now it is a rare thing for me to get any discomfort from nicotine. I still feel it now and then but it is more of an enjoyable experience rather than something i dread happening.

I have a full proof plan...
step 1: smoke two packs of nails a day without touching your pipe for the next twelve to fifteen years. (don't worry I'm sure we can find some pipe-sitters for you)pick the nastiest cheapest full flavor filterless cigs you can find.
step 2: decide that pipes are less expensive and more your speed and style.
step 3: Buy a nice briar and a couple of cheap blends from the local B&M
Step 4:Slowly go from nails over to pipes, only using cigarettes when you need a nic hit and don't have twenty minutes to an hour of pipe time available.
step 5:Decide you can't get enough Smokes per day out of a briar
step 6: buy some cobs
try it my friend and you too will be smoking a cig followed by a high nic pipe before bed every night
ymmv

Smoke cigarettes LOL JK

But in all honesty if you smoke cigarettes like me, you will never buzz from pipes because your tolerance will be high.

Other than that I recommend that you slow you smoking down, change to a lower nic content baccy, or suck it up! :D

If the queasiness hits, sugars or starches are the best answer. Nicotine causes your blood sugar to spike and then crash, resulting in nausea. Chocolate works especially well as the caffeine helps the sugar get into your system more quickly.

Does smoking a tobacco pipe cause any stomach problems or worsen any problems you might have? I get a weird tightening/indigestion feeling after smoking a pipe! I haven't been able to find anything on the forums?? I have been. Curious lately if i have any stomach problems such as acid reflux or other stomach related problems?? Does anyone have any insight/suggestions? I am curious if others have this problem?
