I bought some GLP Triple Play and before I realized it was in cube form. I've never smoked this kind of tobacco befor and really don't know how to do it. I broke some off to try but that didn't work too well, Sugestions? Help! :?:

That's a plug piped.

Slice a flake from it across the grain/layers. Thickness is entirely up to you of course!

From there prepare the flake as you prefer, rubbed out or further cut into cubes. When I go for the cube cut I shoot for pieces somewhere in the area of 1/8".

This one smokes best for me after it's dried a good bit.
Not a bad blend all in all but the plug is not as densely compressed as say, Petersons 3P's so it makes it hard, for me at any rate, to produce an actual flake from the thing.

I wouldn't use herb grinders or coffee mills. WAY too easy to chop the tobacco too fine, then you're left with dust.
Follow OTD's instructions and you'll do fine.

I'd like to try some plug tobacco. Any of the popular ones (JKP, 3P's, Triple Play) but i'd be forced to pack half-bowls or even quarter-bowls. I have a low nic tolerance  One day perhaps.

I saw that video a while ago and couldn't help but think.... "Merlin's Beard that's the nastiest paper plate I've seen in all my years."
Must have been around for at LEAST a week. Or a full day or two of practicing cutting plugs for the video haha.
