These damned Sutliff tins. I've experienced rust with a number of them, but never mold. Though I wasn't willing to risk it so I just moved all my Crumble Kakes and Cringle Flakes to jars. I still think it's the acidity in whatever the preservative is. Who knows, but it seems to be the MO with these type of blends from Sutliff

Interesting. I have a decent stash of CF across multiple years, wondering how mine will fare. Kinda makes me nervous about it. But, what can ya do
Yah I'm fairly deep on the last 3 years haha but every tin i crack to smoke has been fine, a little of that "whiteness" in the flakes, not fuzzy fluffy spore filled badness lol so far so lucky. Also the fact that OP said that it was fine when he opened the tin and grew friends for him after that makes me feel better.

Same here upon opening mine.

CF grows friends, eh, I'll have to test that out haha
