I tried a flake from a pal in pipe club this morning.
Didn't think it was heavy on the perique, which pleased me. The stoved Katerini adds a pleasant tang and subtle sweetness atop the red Virginia which forms the majority of the flavor.
The flakes are on the thick side. They're soft but not too moist, and rub out easily.
Pretty good overall and a promising blend to age a bit.
I'd give it 3/4.
