They never replied to an email I sent, asking about their cigars, for those didn’t see/read…

I don’t care anything about them now, so moving on...

Right. Ex cohiba torcedores means nothing. They do not design the liga. If they do not have the proper leaf they can roll a beautifull cigar but that do not mean it will taste good.

From a purely mechanical side, Cuban torcedores don't instantly wow me. Quite the opposite - while most Havanas I've had were excellent, there are a lot of cigars that are overfilled, underfilled, and sometimes just bunched wrongo. I've had just as many Cohiba duds as any other brand. I make an exception for cigars that come from the El Laguito factory - construction is usually a cut above there.

The leaves and the blender are another matter. When Avelino Lara left Cuba (the man behind the original Cuban Cohiba and Trinidad brands), he ended up at Graycliff. Bahaman-made Graycliff (as opposed to the online-only abominations that can be had cheaply) are a thing of beauty and the blends are very unique and inspired. Henrik Kelner (and family) are other blenders that have worked magic with non-Cuban leaf.

I actually sent them an email inquiring about a few things, not just costs. I also didn’t ask them when they were going to sell cheaper, I asked if they might offer less expensive cigars in the future.

There was nothing wrong with the email I sent, asking a few varied questions about their products.

Sorry you misunderstood my last few replies, I thought I explained ok before.

Aloha & be well @pantsBoots 🤙 ❤️
being on top of communication with potential clients is a super cost effective way to get new customers. Though sometimes the spam filter just goes stupid and puts emails in bin before the recipient gets it.

@fireground_piper Oh I remember that episode LOL 😝

In fact, I just watched all of Seinfeld for the first time last year.

@anotherbob I sent them an email on their website form. That would be pretty messed up, to not be able to receive your own emails from your own contact form.

you probably have a better idea on how that would work on the back end. Either way every slim once in a while there is some kind of legit reason for an email to fall through the cracks, especially the smaller the company is.
