I get that sensation toward the last third of most bowls I smoke. Velvety, rich flavor I can almost feel.
I produce little if any visible smoke, I don't get it either. Sort of like saying air has a mouth feel.I have never had a sensation of "creamyness" or "mouthfeel", I haven't a clue about what you guys are talking about.
BC tends to make the smoking experience hollow, I think. It produces smoke, but no flavor. Is that what you mean by "volume"? Flavorless smoke?

Yeah, BC alone is not extremely flavorful to me either, but it helps thicken the smoke, which aids in carrying the flavors of the blend when used with other leaf. I think what everyone refers to and perceives as mouthfeel is really the smoke density, and how long the flavors stay on the tongue. A dense smoke hangs around on the palate a little longer before dissipating. Smoke with less density is more fleeting.I produce little if any visible smoke, I don't get it either. Key Largo is some good stuff.Second @jttnk ’s recommendation of Pease Key Largo. That’s probably the single most pronounced example of creamy I can recall recently.
Hmmmmm... haven’t smoked Escudo for a long time but stocked up quite a bit of that vintage. Will need to revisit.Older Escudo like 2008 has a nice creamy component to it.
