Crazy Looking Lorenzo T.V. Pipe

Although I am collecting only a couple of brands, I would love to ow at least one pipe from every brand. It's quite hard to find a special enough pipe from some of the budget brands, but this one is definitely the chosen one for Lorenzo. I decided to post it unrestored, because God only knows when this girl's turn will come

I believe its meant for the bowl to rest on your chest while slung back in your recliner. Or that was the wisdom online years ago. Shorter stemmed pipes with the same shape were called chinresters.....which rested on your chin.
Or so goes the lore.

I think it's so you can change the channel with the stem. The knobs on those old t.v.s would need something like that to move them.

I was trying to find this, it was last couple of years, but the title must have been along the lines of "what the hell...." - there was Shock and Awe going on.
