crack in my new pipe?!?!

I wouldn't worry about it- there's always a really sharp angle where the draft hole meets the chamber leaving a tiny sliver of briar in that area that charred and cracked. I'm thinking about soldering a miniature burr to a 2" extension so I can reach inside the chamber and chamfer that edge on the pipes I make….
My best suggestion on new pipes, is load the sucker up, smoke it slow to the bottom, and don't be peeking in any dark holes looking for cracks….

That is a crack.
I have a suspicion it is when overly dry wood is smoked and cooled rapidly, causing expansion and shrinkage that the dry wood cannot handle. I had this with one of my estate pipes in the exact same place. I have scraped it away with my pipe tool a few times and I guess it's filled up with cake and what not now as it's no longer there.
Also on a Ronson pipe (similar to Falcon) both of my bowls have began to shrink and crack in the bottom, I'm assuming it's the once suitable wood losing it's integrity due to age and moisture expansion and now cracking like a bowl of rice crispies! They both tatsed aweful too, like an old book going up with a match.

You can see where they used tooling right above it to hold the stumble to turn the outside. May of caused stress who knows? Looks like briar fragments from drilling. Man you guys really worry about your pipes. Smoke it see what happens.

You smoked too hot in the bottom of the bowl. It's hard not to do that with a new bowl. The layer of briar between the draft hole and the wall is very thin there as it comes to an angle where the draft hole emerges.
That's a very very common area to get some char, which is what that is. Not a crack. And no, you've not ruined your pipe.
