Wish I had more cowboy coffee from before Sutliff closed. I think it’s a little better, or at least what I was used to.
Brad, it didn't change yet. When Sutliff announced their closing the CS bought PLENTY of blending tobacco. They are still using Sutliff leaf today. Jon David is a very intelligent strategic business man. Cowboy Coffee, Cherokee, Baker Street etc. are very popular house blends. I guarantee Jon has a climate controlled warehouse loaded with blending leaf.

I dunno about that. I know it varies batch to batch, I physically compared the leaf froM before and after. In addition I actually spoke with them and they told me they were getting different leaf…… so I dunno. I did the math there. 2+2=chair

Ah, yeah, I don't know then. I have smoked some from a year and a half ago and some fresh stuff and to be honest Brad, I can't tell the difference only that the older stuff is a little smoother. I wanted to see if there was a change after talking about it. I'll dig some out of my closet from two years ago if I have any left and I'll compare it. I have a few pounds in jars in my closet but most is from last year and this year. Have you tried their Old Fashion blend yet?

I couldn't agree more, I really love Cowboy Coffee too. I actually just voted for it in the best tobacco of 2024 thread. If you like Oriental/Turkish tobacco give Shepard's Pie a go. It's another one of my faves from The Country Squire.
Yes and yes. Shepherds pie is my goto but cowboy coffee is an easy all day blend as well. The Country Squire is consistently cranking out high quality blends.
