Hi All,

I messaged Kevin and cleared this. Since we're in the middle of what is a difficult time for some, I thought we'd start a Pay It Forward thread for those in need during COVID for our fellow pipe smokers who are affected by the virus by being out of work. I know some of us have tins or bulk tobacco to share. If you are in need or have something to share, please PM me and we will get you matched up.

1. For those giving, PM me and let me know that you are willing to give. When the need arises, you'll be given the contact information of the person in need. Please contact them whether through email or PM and send within a few days. Thank them for the chance to help them. Its a privilege to help those in need.

2. For those asking, please PM me and let me know your situation. All we ask is that you please be in need. This is an opportunity for pipe smokers to help pipe smokers in need, not an opportunity for "free" tobacco. Thank those who donate to you privately first when you receive your tobacco, some people don't like being thanked publicly. Be grateful.

Stay safe, stay healthy and lets enjoy the solace our pipes afford us in this crisis.

Shortly after i joined this fourm i read some posts about generous people helping others and i commented i hoped to be in a spot where i could do that some day. I dont have a huge supply and my tins are mostly open/ jared would it be okay to donate some opened stuff or are you looking for sealed tins?

Hi Tommy,

considering the times, I think sealed tins are best since they can be expected to be sanitary. Normally most wouldn't care but we should be extra cautious.

Ok i understand. Good luck and i hope you can help some down on their luck pipers. Its a cool idea that i think will lift the spirits of people that receive the gifts as well as the ones able to donate.
