Hoping you just got the much weaker variant (likely, based on the timing). In which case, the smell issue won't really be an issue like it was for those of us who got it last year before all the mutations.

Me too. I'm able to function but it takes some effort.

I took Paxlovid when I had Covid. It eliminated the symptoms almost immediately but the bitter taste lingered for several weeks. I agree time heals all wounds.

I have had covid several times now over the last 2 years and last fall was the 1st time I completely lost all sense of smell or taste,they both have kind of come back now but things I liked before I now hate and vice versus. I never liked much Latakia but now I smoke a good deal of it mostly because It's something I can actually taste these days.

I had COVID last December and my sense of smell is still not back. Nine months! Maybe 60% of what I had before? Tobacco is not nearly as enjoyable for me, and I get a metalic taste when I drink red wine. Bourbon tastes pretty good though, ha.

Anyone else had so long a period of lack of taste? My doctor originally said six months.....
