I've had good luck with Savinellis in that price range. I think the easiest thing to do is go to www.smokingpipes.com and just scroll through their Savinelli pipes and look for a shape you want. If the pipe is too expensive, note the shape number and look for it in the less expensive finishes.

I'm a huge fan of bent dublins with nice thick walls. I tend to see a lot of Danish pipes like this; don't ignore Nordings, Bjarnes, Stanwells and the like. I got my Bjarne for $45 and it's my best smoker. Also consider sandblasted pipes They aren't, "rusticated" and the price can be lower than smooth pipes because they don't need a blemish free block of briar.
