Starcat - have you seen the monster you started in Pipe Talk? Please come back and give your views; it's taken on a life of it's own and is 10 pages and climbing...!
For what it's worth, BF is on my 'To do' list and a definite +1 on the MM965; it's my go to, along with GLP Chelsea Morning and C&D Morning Drive Time.

I finally tried a bowl of Briar Fox in my new Stanwell last night at our local pipe club meet. Great stuff! The first few puffs were a bit harsh to me but the bowl settled in and smoked beautifully. Lots of great flavor in this one. I'll be commiting to a larger size tin in the future.

I have a tin of this in the cellar but have not tried it. For those in the know, is Briar Fox similar to Night Train at all?

The jury is still out on the Virginia's with me. I like the taste, but getting used to smoking this tobacco is a challenge. It tends to be very easily "hot boxed" plus there is a lot of moisture from the tobacco. I think it's just getting used to smoking it slower, but for me it's a challenge to keep it burning and not burning too hot? Suggestions? I've also been spoiled to Hilands Cigars, Black Gold (Aromatic). It's good.
