Great notes on all the blends. I love Deer Tongue as well. Crooner and Gentleman Caller are staples for me. I have a Dr. Grabow dedicated to it.

I think once you dedicate a pipe to a Deer Tongue blend, the Deer Tongue really starts to shine.

but I have tried SG 1792 and found it very satisfying.

No deertongue in that one, just tonquin.
